Granite Introduces "Spring Into Action" Initiative Through Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 Program

Communications Services Provider to Support Local Charitable Fitness Events
QUINCY, Mass., April 7, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Granite Telecommunications, a $1.6 billion provider of communications services to multilocation businesses and government agencies, today announced that Granite Gives Back, its non-profit organization, is introducing its "Spring Into Action" initiative as part of its Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 program.
Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 is a program that seeks to uplift mental, emotional and economic health by connecting Granite teammates with each other and local businesses and community resources.
The "Spring Into Action" initiative, held during the month of April 2021, focuses on physical activity for Granite teammates.
"As part of our commitment to supporting charitable organizations through our Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 program, we're encouraging our employees to 'spring into action' and get out and moving this April by supporting fun runs and walks to raise funds for worthy community causes," said Granite CEO Rob Hale.
As part of the effort, Granite will be supporting Children's Home Society of Florida and their virtual Heroes 5K on April 24 and the Eversource Virtual Walk for Boston Children's Hospital on June 13.
In addition to these two events, Granite Gives Back will be sharing information with Granite teammates on healthcare provider benefits and free virtual fitness classes in yoga, strength training and cardio.
