Ralph Günther Mohnnau launches a new press campaign for 'Sowing Nightshade in the Wastelands of Cities'

Bi-lingual poetry collection is an analysis of the many aspects of big cities and the loss of humanity

NEW YORK, April 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ralph Günther Mohnnau endowed the literary world with a novel voice into the contemporary lyrical concert with he released "Sowing Nightshade in the Wastelands of Cities" (published by Trafford Publishing in January 2007).

This 2021, the book is set for a new marketing campaign to reach a wider audience.

"Sowing Nightshade in the Wastelands of Cities" is a collection of bi-lingual poetry (German and English) drawn by a scintillating poet who is not afraid to take that step through the light -- as well as dark -- glass of his soul. Complemented with English translations by Christopher Martin, this book of poems presents an analysis of the disastrous aspects of big cities and the loss of humanity. It is the author's hope for readers to be more cautious of the actual situation in big cities and their social structure.

A poem titled "encouraging / young poets" reads:
with your poems
you'll never outshine an onassis
& for your sake no john wayne
will blast from the hip
AH BUT
you'll have jackies galore to suck on
your toes
&
la-otse to pass you his flute of bamboo

"Sowing Nightshade in the Wastelands of Cities" has been published with a companion collection -- "On the Tidings of Time" and "Day by Day Time Folding Time" -- also available from Trafford Publishing.
