While the freedom hackers succeed in breaking the GlobeCom backbone, Cy is gravely injured and her husband Des is killed in the attack. She must rebuild her body while steering the hacker clans away from new danger awaiting them at the Watergate -- that could destroy almost everyone she holds dear.
