Tuesday, October 19, 2021

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, Oct. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Two-time Grammy Award-winning artist Kimbra today announced a special collaboration with KLKTN, an emerging tech startup connecting artists with fans. Beginning on Friday, October 15, the global pop star, singer-songwriter, and producer will release a series of multimedia artworks consisting of newly composed music, along with videos, animations, and other visual art, with behind-the-scenes content that chronicles her creative process. The artworks will be available for purchase in digital collectible form at KLKTN.com.

The collaboration provides a rare look inside Kimbra's creative universe, in advance of her highly anticipated forthcoming full-length record. While her new record's preview tour is currently sold out across the U.S., fans will have the opportunity to connect with Kimbra digitally and access a range of exclusive content commissioned by KLKTN. Special edition pieces will be released in limited quantities, including musical compositions featuring Kimbra's vocals and experimental multimedia art. Kimbra's collectible series features the following artworks: "Different Story," "All the Parts," "The Southern Ocean," and "My Care and Devotion."

"With this project, I wanted to freely explore new possibilities, new mediums, new ways to express myself," said Kimbra. "Experimenting with technology as a way to transcend boundaries is an idea that's always appealed to me. It's been wonderful to team up with KLKTN on bringing my vision to life and connecting with fans around the world."

"We are thrilled to partner with Kimbra on launching her first-ever series of digital collectibles," said Jeff Miyahara, Chief Creative Officer of KLKTN. "Our mission is to unleash a new era in fandom, to reimagine what is possible at the intersection of music, culture and technology, and ultimately, to champion innovative artists and help them build connections with fans around the world. The time to democratize music, to drive change in a way that benefits artists and supports the industry, is now."

KLKTN is a digital collectibles platform connecting artists with fans through special experiences, real-life perks, and exclusive glimpses into their creative journey.
