The Canning Group Continues Success With the New Jersey Purchasing Group
Wednesday, November 10, 2021

The Canning Group has continued to grow its relationship with bidnet direct, managing a total of 20 local government procurement organizations on the New Jersey Purchasing Group.

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Nov. 2, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Canning Group has continued to grow its relationship with bidnet direct, managing a total of 20 local government procurement organizations on the New Jersey Purchasing Group. Since selecting bidnet direct in 2020, the Canning Group publishes and distributes upcoming bid opportunities for 20 agencies on the New Jersey Purchasing Group including Manchester Township, the Town of Newton, and Howell Township. The Canning Group invites all interested bidders to register today by visiting http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-jersey.

bidnet direct's New Jersey Purchasing Group connects over 40 participating agencies from across the state to a large vendor pool and streamlines the bid and vendor management process. The New Jersey Purchasing Group also provides notifications to nearly 10,000 registered vendors of new relevant solicitations, as well as any addenda and award information from participating agencies. These solicitations now include statewide and federal bid opportunities and can be accessed by registering at http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-jersey.

The Canning Group has been participating on bidnet direct since June 2020 and will continue to utilize the system to streamline purchasing processes for its partnering governments. To date, electronic bid submission, bid management, bid distribution and vendor management have been utilized by all participating member agencies within New Jersey. Electronic bid submission reduces the bid turnaround time, giving vendors ample opportunity to respond before the solicitation closes. Vendors can respond to bid opportunities with no paper or mailing required, saving them money and time, and ultimately lowering the cost of goods and/or services offered.

"Electronic bid submission has been a perfect fit for us," stated Sean Canning, Management Member of the Canning Group. Not only does it make us more organized and efficient, it also helps greatly reduce the bidding time and operational costs for our vendors. We are pleased with how easy bidnet direct and the New Jersey Purchasing Group have been for our buyers and agencies that we represent as well as the supplier community," he continued.

bidnet direct's vendor support team is available to answer any questions regarding the registration process or the bid system at 800-835-4603 option 2. Registered suppliers have access to view, download documents and respond to all bids from the 20 agencies represented by the Canning Group including the Borough of Midland Park, Township of Vernon, and the Borough of Seaside Park. Vendors may register with the Canning Group and all other participating agencies on the New Jersey Purchasing Group by visiting http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-jersey.
