Author Stephen L. Newman Blends Drama Against Backdrop of the Middle East in The Qumran Cave 12 Manuscript

Referencing the Bible, theological books and the characteristics of religion as a whole, Newman uses this concept to frame the plotline of the book and create a universe where one could question the true existence of reality.
Newman presents to readers the treacherous journey initiated by young university archaeologist and heroine Samantha James who is invited to lead an archaeological dig into Qumran Cave 12, one of a series of caves located in the Judean Desert on the West Bank. She discovers copper plates that pre date the Dead Sea Scrolls by over 1,000 years. This shocking discovery leads to a path filled with treachery and betrayal and raises the possibility that the very core of the Judeo-Christian religions may be a well-conceived masquerade.
