Rentec Direct Adds New Vendor Online Payment Tool to Property Management Software

New feature built into Rentec Direct's software platform automates and simplifies accounting for real estate professionals
GRANTS PASS, Ore., June 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rentec Direct, the industry-leading property management software company, has added a new Vendor Online Payment tool to its software platform to further automate and streamline workflow for real estate professionals. The updated, built-in feature gives Rentec Direct clients the ability to electronically transfer payments to vendors, eliminating the need for mailing paper checks. Property managers and landlords can save valuable time and money while eliminating a manual step from the vendor payment process.

The Vendor ACH Payment tool will use Rentec Direct clients' merchant accounts to transfer funds directly to a vendor's bank account. After users set up the appropriate vendor profiles to receive ACH payments within the software platform, funds are sent electronically, the ledger is updated and vendors are notified by an automated email. Depending on the ACH processing time at the receiving financial institution, most payments will arrive in the vendor's bank account within two business days.
In today's digital age, electronic payments have become a necessary part of day to day business. Mailing cash or checks can be inconvenient and unreliable. Electronic payments eliminate many barriers for both real estate professionals and their vendors.
