Playsaurus announces purchase of Grindcraft - An idle crafting game with a large following

GrindCraft is a idle crafting game that has a large online following
LOS ANGELES, July 31, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Playsaurus, the idle/incremental game development studio and publisher known for developing Clicker Heroes and publishing Cookie Clicker, has purchased GrindCraft, a classic Flash based crafting game. The process took several months and the deal was signed May 3rd, 2022.
"GrindCraft fits well with our existing game portfolio." said Austin Oblouk, CEO of Playsaurus. "We loved the unique design of clicking to craft from a pool of resources. There really isn't another idle game like it."
GrindCraft was formerly owned by Jeff Spicer and Seth Crofton of JeTSpice Games. "We are glad to find a home for GrindCraft. We look forward to seeing all the cool things Playsaurus will be doing with the brand."
By purchasing GrindCraft, Playsaurus brings the development in-house and can bring GrindCraft to a broader audience. Playsaurus is working on an HTML5 port to bring the game back to the web audience after Adobe Flash Player was phased out in major browsers in 2020.

Playsaurus plans to bring Grindcraft back to the web to be played on https://grindcraft.com and on the CrazyGames web portal.
