21 Years and Still Going Strong: Project6 Earns Best in Show Award for College Website
Friday, October 14, 2022

With more than two decades of branding and web experience, Project6 continues to innovate and design websites ranked in the top 1% of all entries in W3 Awards.

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Oct. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Winners of the 17th Annual w3 Awards have been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts today. Receiving over 3,000 entries annually from across the globe, the w3 Awards honors outstanding Websites, Marketing, Video, Mobile, Social, and Podcasts created by some of the best digital content creators across the industry. Project6 won the prestigious Best in Show for its work in the education sector with the recent website redesign and development of the Flathead Valley Community College.

"Project6 was an outstanding team to work with to redesign our college website. Their professionalism, expertise, and ability to work with all areas of campus to create a site that really represents our organization was incredible. The team is dedicated, friendly, and always helped us find solutions to create a functional, interactive, modern website. They communicated openly and were very organized throughout the project. I highly recommend them to any organization and I would work with them again in an instant." --Allison Linville, Executive Director, Communications And Marketing

This achievement marks the second award for the project, having recently won a Silver Muse Award. In addition to this Best in Show award, Project6 also won a Silver award for it's work with a prominent university based in San Francisco.

Project6 was thrilled to hear this recent news. "We're honored to accept these awards, especially for Best in Show. They reflect our commitment to excellence in design within the education sector," said Esten Sesto, President of Project6 Design. "As Project6 celebrates 21 years in business, our team continues to learn, grow, innovate, and contribute great results that exceed our clients' expectations."

Highlighting the diversity of entries and winners this season, the 17th Annual Best-in-Show winners represent an impressive group of agencies and companies of all sizes.

The w3 Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the people behind award-winning sites, marketing programs, social content, mobile site/apps and online video. In honoring the best of the Web, the W3 Awards is the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Small firms are as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies and international agencies.

Having just finished its seventeenth season, the w3 Awards received over 3,000 entries from Advertising agencies, PR Firms, Digital Agencies, In-house creative professionals, Web Designers, and Graphic Designers.

In determining winners, entries are judged based on a standard of excellence as determined by the AIVA, according to the category entered. To uphold a high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners, or may have no winners at all. Entries are scored on a 100-point scale by the judges. Less than 10% of all entries will be selected as Gold Winners. Other outstanding entries will be Silver Winners. Best in Show selections represent the highest mark of distinction and are also selected by the Academy based on scoring. The judges awarded Best in Show honors to no more than 1% of all work entered.

The w3 Awards illuminates creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning Websites, Video, Marketing, Mobile, Social and Podcasts. Simply put, the w3 is the leading digital competition that recognizes the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Small firms are as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies and international agencies.

The w3 Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation- only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
