Wednesday, November 16, 2022

Schlafender Hase® today announced the release of TVT 11, a new version of its industry-leading proofreading software. Upgraded technology, new functionalities and an enhanced user interface make TVT 11 the most powerful and user-friendly version of Schlafender Hase's flagship product TVT® released to date.

FRANKFURT, Germany, Nov. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Schlafender Hase® today announced the release of TVT 11, a new version of its industry-leading proofreading software. Upgraded technology, new functionalities and an enhanced user interface make TVT 11 the most powerful and user-friendly version of Schlafender Hase's flagship product TVT® released to date.

The powerful capabilities of TVT version 11 (based on 64-bit technology) allow users to quickly and easily upload and process documents of virtually any size. The only limit now is a user's own hardware performance. Benchmarking conducted by Schlafender Hase shows that image matching accuracy and overall speed have increased by up to 20 and 15 percent respectively, with significantly faster file loading and comparison times.

Among the new features is an option to automatically dismiss identical images that recur throughout a document. This saves time by eliminating the need to manually remove identical images. Users can also change window size and layout more easily to suit their preferences and the task at hand. Furthermore, toolbars, buttons and icons have been refreshed with an enhanced look and feel. Other changes include the upgrading of TVT Spelling® dictionaries to the most recent editions, including an updated version of Stedman's Medical Dictionary®. The TVT Barcode® module now includes capabilities for GS1 DataBar Stacked symbology.

"Many of the features integrated into TVT 11 are the product of our strong engagement with our customers," explains Frank Hessler, founding CEO of Schlafender Hase. "Our focus in this new version has been two-fold. First, enhancing powerful capabilities that make TVT faster and even more efficient when customers are working with large, complex documents. Second, building on user experience to increase the overall speed, comfort and ease of verifying text, artwork and barcodes."

"The release of TVT 11 significantly strengthens our capabilities in terms of verifying graphics, and further positions Schlafender Hase as an attractive provider of powerful solutions in industries that are highly graphics-driven," explains Francisco Baraona, co-CEO of Schlafender Hase.
