OSDB Expands With Addition Of NHL To Its Sports Platform
Saturday, February 11, 2023
Online Sports Database (OSDB) is expanding to include coverage of the NHL in its already extensive online database.
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Your go-to online destination for sports information, OSDB, just expanded to add coverage of the NHL to its digital database. Since its inception in 2021, complete rosters of NFL, MLB and NBA athletes have been available on the OSDB website. Now, NHL enthusiasts will finally have a place to view in-depth athlete profiles featuring personal interests, business ventures, charities, and career statistics, along with agent and management contact information.
OSDB, co-founded by reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers together with long-time friend and actor Ryan Rottman, was created to address the lack of comprehensive information available online about professional athletes. The result was an IMDB-style sports site that showcases an athlete's strengths on the field, interests off the field, and all of their representation information in one place. Having this information easily available gives athletes a better avenue to connect with prospective business opportunities.
CEO Ryan Rottman knows the value this site holds for athletes and fans alike. When asked about the new expansion, he said, "It's been incredible to see OSDB's growth. We launched in April 2021 with MLB, NBA and NFL and in a short time expanded to MLS and NHL. We will continue to grow and give users a place to deep dive their favorite players and teams." With five major sports leagues now offered on their website, OSDB has no plans of slowing down.
As OSDB continues to grow, their future plans are to expand their offerings to include Soccer, UFC, WNBA, PGA, LPGA, Cricket, and E-Sports, and eventually even college, high school, and retired athlete profiles. For now, OSDB is thrilled to kick off the new year with NHL data and profiles. "We think the NHL is underserved and couldn't be happier to add it to our platform. From an editorial perspective, we're going to dive into who the players really are and tell meaningful stories that will resonate with our users," says Michael Goldman, EVP. If you're a business or brand looking to connect with NHL athletes or a fan looking for extensive and up-to-date information on your favorite players, head over to OSDBsports.com.
