Anacomp Appoints Technology Veteran Scott Winkler GM of Litigation Support Division
Tuesday, November 03, 2009

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AnacompĀ® Inc., a leading eDiscovery and Litigation Support solutions company, today announced the hiring of technology veteran Scott Winkler as General Manager of its eDiscovery and Litigation Support Division which includes the industry-leading document review platform, CaseLogistix. The addition of Winkler and other management changes come as Anacomp is seeing increasing demand from law firms and corporations for a broader range of litigation support software and services. Anacomp had recently added eDiscovery expert Chuck Kellner as Vice President of Consulting to lead its expansion of eDiscovery services. Winkler augments the team with significant depth in developing and marketing enterprise-class software aimed at clients who want software deployed on their own premises or hosted as a service.

On the addition of Winkler, Anacomp CEO Howard Dratler said, "We see and are pleased by the very strong adoption of CaseLogistix by law firms over the past several years. We also recognize that the legal market is evolving rapidly, particularly as it relates to our corporate clients' direct use of eDiscovery review and Early Case Assessment software and services. To stay competitive and to meet our clients' needs, we are pushing ahead to create even greater value for our clients. With these expectations, we believe we must build on what we have already accomplished. We are accelerating our roadmaps for eDiscovery products and services, we are leveraging our technology partnerships in new ways, and our expanding direct and indirect channels will allow us to reach more of the litigation support market." Continued Dratler, "This move reinforces our commitment to the market and to our customers and partners in both the US and Europe. Bringing Scott on board is instrumental to expand the technical resources and domain expertise we want for enhancing CaseLogistix and our other eDiscovery software and services."

Winkler added, "I'm pleased to be joining a company that already has such a strong foundation upon which to build and I look forward to helping Anacomp achieve its vision. What they have accomplished in such a short period of time is extremely impressive. Anacomp is very well positioned in the eDiscovery market. As Howard mentioned, the litigation support market is highly competitive and it evolves rapidly. There is much more we want to accomplish to maintain our position of leadership."
