Dakim BrainFitness Wins 'Innovations in Healthcare' ABBY Award

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Dakim Inc., announced today that it has won an Innovations in Healthcare(SM) ABBY Award from the Adaptive Business Leaders Organization (ABL) for Dakim BrainFitness, a touchscreen-based mental stimulation system designed to reduce seniors' risk of dementia and memory loss through rigorous but entertaining brain workout sessions. The awards were announced October 28 at ABL's 11th annual Innovations in Healthcare Awards event in Newport Beach, CA. Winners were selected by ABL members from more than 50 nominees in three categories on the basis of their ability to help reduce the cost of quality healthcare by various strategies, including engaging healthcare consumers more actively in their care and health status.
Dakim BrainFitness won in the "Innovative Approaches to the Delivery of Healthcare" category against two other finalists - a stress reduction program from HeartMath and an online health management program for consumers from Kaiser Permanente.
