Questcon Technologies Offers HP Quality Center Software Licenses on a Project Basis

Questcon Technologies joins in HP Partner Internal Purchase Program

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Questcon Technologies (www.questcon.com), with over 18 years experience in providing quality assurance and test, process improvement and automation solutions, announced that it is participating in the HP Partner Internal Purchase Program and offering HP software licenses on a project basis for a term period ranging from one to three months to its customers.

Questcon's goal is to successfully use HP quality and performance management software for its clients. As a result of its participation in HP's Project-based Licensing Program, Questcon can now drive HP quality assurance solutions on several fronts. "HP's Project-based Licensing Program enables Questcon to offer the HP quality and performance management software on a project basis so that our clients only need to pay for the software they need. It's the best of both worlds for our clients," said Lisa Lovas, Managing Director, Questcon.

Questcon Technologies has considerable experience in working with numerous HP test automation products, including HP QuickTest Professional software, part of HP Quality Center. Questcon continues to work with a wide range of HP software--including HP Quality Center, HP QuickTest Professional and HP Performance Center software--to enhance QA and test processes.

Recently, Questcon has been engaged with an industry-leading, multi-billion dollar international retail company with multi-channel retail sales. The company recognized a need to enhance its QA and test processes and institute a modular test automation framework to support its proprietary e-commerce and warehouse logistics applications. Its existing automation package, IBM Rational, was fine for short-term needs; however, based on both near-term and long-term strategy, Rational would not be able to adequately support the company's direction. Questcon worked with the client to retire Rational and implement the HP solutions, and then partnered with the client to tailor HP Quality Center to the client's QA process by customizing requirements gathering and review, test plan, test execution, and defects tracking.

This resulted in significant downstream ROI capture (over $150,000 per application), quicker production release times, and reduced staffing levels. The changes implemented by Questcon allowed the firm to shorten development time while keeping its systems at the cutting edge of performance.
