After a difficult breakup, Martinez felt traumatized and unworthy. She felt God leading her toward a one-year consecration, and she obeyed. This required Martinez to surrender distractions so that she was able to discover her true worth through Yahweh's healing touch. The experience deepened her faith and prepared her for the next phase of her life as a pastor's wife, her YouTube ministry, and the ministry that she and her husband would start together.

Lynn Martinez was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, where she endured a challenging childhood and became a teen mother. Her life changed in 1993 when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Martinez earned her GED, pursued nursing, and attended a Bible institute for two years. She later became served the homeless and addicted community through Way Out Church Ministries in the Bronx, as well as SonRise Ministry, an organization she co-founded with her husband, Amadis Martinez. Now based in Austin, TX, Martinez continues her ministry work and shares prophetic insights through her YouTube channel, "My Consecration Journey". She is also the author of Without Fault.
