Vero Networks Announces its Seventh U.S. Military Base Network Build
Tuesday, March 25, 2025
BOULDER, Colo., March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vero Networks, a leading provider of fiber optic infrastructure solutions, is proud to announce its seventh fiber build on U.S. military bases in support of small cell deployments for two major wireless carriers. This milestone highlights Vero Networks' continued commitment to supporting its customers in their efforts to enhance connectivity and communication capabilities in underserved areas across the United States.
This new network infrastructure will enable faster, more reliable mobile and broadband services for military personnel and their families by expanding cellular coverage on these critical sites. As part of the project, Vero is providing high capacity dark fiber that serves as the backbone connecting the carriers' small cell locations. A dense, high count fiber optic network is required for wireless small cell connectivity because it provides the high bandwidth and low latency necessary to support the massive data demands in these environments.
Constructing new fiber optic networks on military bases is a complex process involving the coordination of multiple stakeholders from both the military and private sectors, significant credentialing to gain access to the bases, and adherence to strict security protocols. Successful completion of these projects are a testament to the Vero team's expertise in managing complex network deployments.
"We are honored to be a trusted partner for these important infrastructure projects on U.S. military bases and excited to continue this work to provide reliable connectivity for military personnel no matter where they are stationed," said Pamela Moore, CEO of Vero Networks.
Vero has plans to expand its military base presence to more locations in the coming year. This growth underscores the company's position as a key player in the deployment of advanced fiber optic networks within secure, high-demand environments.
