Ultra Intelligence & Communications Appoints Dana Mehnert to Board of Directors

AUSTIN, Texas, March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Intelligence & Communications (Ultra I&C) announced today the appointment of industry executive Dana Mehnert to its Board of Directors. Mehnert will join the board this month, providing strategic leadership and insights to support the company's growth and market expansion initiatives.

Mehnert served in multiple key leadership roles throughout his 38-year career with L3Harris, most notably serving as president of their $5 billion Communication Systems segment serving armed forces, allies and public safety organizations throughout the world. He also served as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development spearheading organic revenue growth and capturing large multi-year opportunities across all businesses. Currently, Mehnert is founder of Invictus Strategic Advisors, where he provides strategic counsel to aerospace, defense, and telecommunications industry leaders and investment institutions. Additionally, he serves as chairman of the board for EOS Defense Systems USA.

Mehnert earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
