Engagement will leverage Enveil's Privacy Enhancing Technology-powered capabilities to advance secure and efficient cross-domain data usage
WASHINGTON, May 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Enveil, the pioneering Privacy Enhancing Technology company protecting Data in Use, today announced a new contract funded by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to advance secure data usage in support of the Hybrid Space Architecture (HSA). The effort will leverage Enveil's capabilities to enable the secure handling, analysis, and sharing of sensitive data needed to efficiently deliver space situation awareness at the speed of mission, further validating the mission-enabling value of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
The contract will enable DoD organizations to leverage Enveil's capabilities to search and analyze space assetsBuilding on successful Phase I efforts utilizing space-based collection platforms, the contract will enable DoD organizations to leverage Enveil's capabilities to collaboratively search and analyze space assets across diverse domains and orbits without compromising the mission interests or intent of the data user. Enveil's ZeroReveal® COTS software will integrate with DIU's HSA workflows, enabling secure data utilization and fusion across a multi-domain hybrid space architecture to advance use cases including Space Domain Awareness (SDA), integration with commercial imagery providers, and other novel utilizations of cross-silo data holdings. The DIU-led initiative is being executed in collaboration with U.S. Space Force.
"The ability to securely search, analyze, and share sensitive data to extract and deliver critical insights at the speed of mission is foundational to the success of hybrid data environments, including HSA," said Ellison Anne Williams, CEO of Enveil. "We are proud to continue working alongside DIU and other customer stakeholders to expand data utility and scalability across the wide range of both commercial and government data sources in the space domain."
Defining the transformative category of PETs, Enveil's ZeroReveal® software allows organizations to extract insights, cross-match, search, analyze, and utilize AI across boundaries and silos in ways that were not previously possible. By enabling secure and efficient data usage at scale, Enveil allows mission-critical datasets to be utilized while eliminating the need to replicate data into higher-trust environments for processing. This creates workflow efficiencies that deliver immediate cost-savings via reduced resources for data ingest, compute, and storage.
At its core, Enveil's solutions change the paradigm of how and where organizations can leverage data to unlock value by ensuring the content of the search, analytic, or machine learning model -- and its corresponding results -- are never exposed. ZeroReveal® is deployed and operational at scale today.
