Driving Innovation with Secure and Seamless CAN Integration for the Next Generation of Intelligent Vehicles
ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- New Eagle(TM), a leader in embedded software solutions and electronic control units, today announced it will exhibit at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2025 in Anaheim, California, from April 28-30. At booth #4801, New Eagle will showcase two live demonstrations and other new products highlighting how its Raptor(®) platform is simplifying integration and accelerating secure, standards-compliant communication across intelligent vehicle systems.
As vehicle architectures evolve to support next-generation powertrains, autonomy, and increased cybersecurity demands, OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers are seeking development tools that accelerate system validation while reducing complexity. New Eagle's embedded control solutions help engineers build scalable, production-ready vehicle systems, faster and with greater confidence.
Live Demonstrations at ACT Expo 2025
-- CAN-Do Compatibility: Bridging the Legacy and the Future with Raptor
GatewayThis demo highlights how Raptor connects legacy and modern
networks by bridging CAN 2.0 (J1939-21) and CAN FD (J1939-22) using the
RCM112 and J1939 Gateway blocks. Visitors will see how New Eagle's
intuitive software and off-the-shelf hardware shorten development time
and simplify integration across mixed network environments.
-- Secured in Seconds: Simplifying Cybersecurity with J1939-91C and
RaptorShowcasing the future of in-vehicle cybersecurity, this demo
features Raptor's support for the J1939-91C standard. With plug-and-play
functionality for secure CAN messaging--including freshness values and
re-keying--New Eagle is eliminating the complexity of secure vehicle
communications, enabling rapid implementation and compliance.
"ACT Expo is the premier event to demonstrate how we're helping OEMs and suppliers bridge today's systems with tomorrow's intelligent platforms," said Chris Baker, CEO of New Eagle. "Our Raptor platform is purpose-built to support rapid integration, security, and scalability--key requirements for advanced vehicle development."
New Eagle's suite of embedded control products is already in use across EV, hybrid, and alternative fuel programs, as well as in off-highway and specialty vehicle markets. With its Raptor embedded Model Based Development (eMBD(TM)) platform, developers can take concepts from simulation to production--on proven, standards-compliant hardware.
As part of its presence at ACT Expo, New Eagle will also showcase the newly announced Raptor High-Performance Compute Platform, built on John Deere's VPU. This rugged, high-compute system is the first GPU-enabled controller in the Raptor lineup, offering customers a path to deploy AI-driven control and vision applications at the edge. While the hardware is developed by John Deere, New Eagle is actively integrating the platform into the Raptor ecosystem, with support for model-based development workflows.
