Storey Law Group, P.A. Provides Notice of Data Event

Orlando, Florida, May 22, 2025 - Storey Law Group, P.A. ("Storey") is providing notice of an incident involving personal information of certain individuals.
On July 10, 2024, Storey learned of suspicious activity involving its network and began an investigation into the nature and scope of the activity. The investigation determined that some of Storey's computer systems were accessed by an unknown actor between June 27, 2024, and July 9, 2024, and during this time, certain files were accessed and/or exfiltrated without authorization. Storey then conducted a detailed review of the files involved to determine what information they may contain and to whom it belongs.
Storey determined, through its investigation, that the information potentially accessed or acquired varies by individual and included certain individuals' names, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification card numbers, military identification numbers, passport numbers, financial account information, credit card information, medical information, health insurance information, and biometric data. Storey is providing impacted individuals with details about the incident, its response, and resources available to help protect their information from possible misuse, should they determine it is appropriate to do so.
The confidentiality, privacy, and security of information in Storey's care is among its highest priorities. In response to this incident, Storey reported the incident to law enforcement and implemented additional security measures related to data privacy and security to protect similar events moving forward. Storey is also notifying relevant state regulatory authorities, as required.
Storey encourages all potentially impacted individuals to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud by reviewing their account statements and reporting suspected identity theft and fraud to their credit card company or bank, as well as monitoring free credit reports for suspicious activity and to detect errors.
