Assured Data Protection Announces Organizational Changes in Response to Strong Global Growth

Stacy Hayes appointed Chief Strategy Officer & Rob Mackle appointed CRO, EMEA
HERNDON, Va. and LEEDS, England, July 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Assured Data Protection (Assured), the prominent IT managed services provider (MSP) for cloud data protection solutions, today announced changes to its organizational structure designed to provide a solid foundation for continued growth and to take advantage of strategic business opportunities. The changes will see Stacy Hayes, EVP Americas, become Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) - a newly created global role. As part of the changes, Brian Dutton, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Americas, will take on greater leadership responsibilities across the region and Rob Mackle, currently Managing Director, EMEA, will become CRO, EMEA, as Assured continues to expand its customer base and operations.
The creation of the CSO role is important for Assured. It will see Stacy chart the future of the company, alongside CEO, Simon Chappell. Stacy's responsibilities will include the management of Assured's recently launched Innovation Team, OEM relationships, emerging markets, and a new public sector division.

Organizational changes driven by rapid growth
Assured's organizational changes are driven by strong growth in the Americas and EMEA. They reflect rising global demand for consumption-based IT services and Assured's managed offerings, which deliver added value by allowing organizations to offload the critical, but non-mission supportive, function of data protection, cyber resiliency, and disaster recovery as a service.
In this next phase of expansion, Assured will utilize its proprietary orchestration and administration engine, AssuredView, as a platform for further innovation on which it can leverage existing capabilities to monetize new services. This approach is already proving successful, through a partnership between Assured and hybrid-cloud computing company Nutanix, to deliver a first-of-its-kind disaster recovery solution to customers. Nutanix Disaster Recovery as a Service, delivered by Assured, was developed by the Innovation Team. It requires no investment in facilities or hardware and operationalizes Assured's disaster recovery solution to provide protection to customers globally.
A strategic path to further growth
Assured is Rubrik's largest and most established MSP and its focus on operationalizing Rubrik's Zero Trust Security solutions will continue. At the same time, the company is plotting a path to further growth that will see it pursue a strategy of adjacencies. Assured plans to build relationships with other like-minded technology vendors that don't directly compete with Rubrik and to develop managed service solutions that meet the needs of their customers. The Assured and Nutanix partnership is an example of this strategy in action.
