Ezurio and Cloud2GND Launch Aurawave AW100 Series Modules to Simplify Auracast(TM) and Bluetooth® LE Audio Product Development

Aurawave combines Cloud2GND engineering, Ezurio module performance, and Nordic's nRF5340 technology to accelerate LE Audio innovation.
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud2GND, a wireless engineering services firm, and Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity), a global leader in wireless module solutions, today announced the availability of the Aurawave AW100 series--a flexible, modular platform built to simplify and accelerate the development of Auracast((TM) )and Bluetooth(® )LE Audio products.
Aurawave AW100PA modules are built on Ezurio's BL5340PA and BL5340 modules, powered by Nordic Semiconductor's nRF5340 SoC, with the BL5340PA variant adding the nRF21540 RF front-end module to extend range and improve connection robustness. The AW100PA board also integrates the high-performance AKM AK4558 audio codec chip achieving excellent signal-to-noise ratio and low total harmonic distortion (THD) for production-quality audio, outperforming typical development kit specifications.
Combined with Cloud2GND's Aurawave Audio Framework, the AW100 allows developers to quickly configure and deploy high-quality wireless audio broadcasting using a familiar AT command interface. Designed to support Auracast(TM) source functionality, LE Audio product development, and standalone or host-managed operation, the AW100 provides a complete hardware and firmware platform to serve both prototyping and production needs.

The AW100 board includes onboard audio I/O (I2S, USB, and codec), a USB-C interface for power and data, and a 40-pin expansion header for GPIO and peripheral access. The included firmware enables device configuration via AT commands and supports key LE Audio roles without requiring custom development from scratch.
