VetsinTech Announces Winners of Fifth Annual Tech Startup Pitch Competition
Friday, August 22, 2025

Grand Prize Awarded to Quivly AI in National Veteran-Led Startup Event

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- VetsinTech, the leading national nonprofit dedicated to supporting U.S. veterans through tech-based programs and opportunities in education, employment and entrepreneurship, today announced the winners of its fifth annual Startup Pitch Competition. The event, hosted by VetsinTech with presenting sponsor J.P. Morgan, showcased five early-stage startups founded by veterans and military spouses.

From a competitive field of semi-finalists, Quivly AI was named grand prize winner and awarded $25,000 during a live, virtual pitch event held on August 12, 2025.

Quivly AI is a B2B AI platform that provides intelligent agents designed explicitly for post-sales teams to enhance customer success and retention. The company has secured top-tier enterprise clients, including Redis and Upflex, demonstrating strong market validation in the competitive AI agent space.

"We're honored to be chosen from such an incredible group of veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs. This win affirms Quivly's mission to close a critical gap in the B2B market by giving post-sales teams agents and AI-powered workflows that turn customer data into real-time, revenue-driving actions. What Clay did for pre-sales is what Quivly is doing for post-sales. Unlike generic AI tools, Quivly is purpose-built to help enterprises retain and expand their existing customer base - because in today's economy, growth starts with keeping the customers you already have," said Chandrika Maheshwari, CEO and Co-Founder of Quivly.

The second place winner, Deepinvent.AI, received $10,000. Deepinvent provides an AI-driven invention engine that rapidly transforms ideas into valuable intellectual property, revolutionizing innovation across critical industries, including semiconductor, aerospace, and automotive. Third place went to Entropy Robotics, which was awarded $5,000. The specialized robotics company offers scalable, NDAA-compliant edge machine learning solutions designed for small robots and autonomous systems.

To be eligible, each startup was required to be founded by a U.S. military veteran or spouse and ideally offer a tech solution with applications in cybersecurity, AI, fintech or enterprise SaaS. A focus on volunteerism and positive community impact was also a judging criteria. Winners were selected by a panel of industry experts, investors and tech executives.

"The VetsinTech Startup Competition and the incredible pitches we saw confirms what we've long known to be true - when we support U.S. veteran and military-spouse entrepreneurs, we support business leaders with purpose-driven mission, operational discipline, and steadfast rigor," said Rhett Jeppson, Executive Director, J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking. "We as a firm are proud to support VetsinTech, and we congratulate all participants and winners for their outstanding business achievements. We look forward to the continued impact they will have on our economy and their respective industries."

"The startups in this year's competition pushed boundaries--and demonstrated what's possible when tech and purpose intersect," said Katherine Webster, Founder and CEO of VetsinTech. "We're incredibly proud of our winners and deeply grateful to J.P. Morgan and our partners for continuing to support the veteran and military spouse entrepreneur community."

Veteran founders now account for 8% of all new businesses in 2023, up from 5% in 2022--meaning veterans are launching startups at a rate that surpasses their share of the U.S. adult population (~6%).
