First-Time Author Introduces Book One in the Action-Packed Fictional Kingdom Wars Book Series for Young Adult Readers

This fictional action-packed story written by Gaddis for his new book series, Kingdom Wars, follows main characters, Jordan Jasper and Roger Clark, two young, ordinary boys on a trek through the Amuri Jungle. Fully aware that they are about to embark on an extremely challenging venture, the boys, trained in wilderness survival, stumble across a mysterious object that launches them into a mission of new proportions. Headstrong Jordan and easy-going Roger accept the mission, but their lives are suddenly taken over by a stronger Force, that of the Holy Spirit. While Roger willingly adapts, Jordan faces doubt and hesitates to follow the Holy Spirit. This act of defiance plunges him and his friends into a continuous slew of failures and consequences. When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Gaddis said, "First and foremost, every major idea for my book came directly from the Lord--literally. I never planned it, expected it, or asked for it, which makes the Series rather interesting. The writing style that impressed me the most was that of C.S. Lewis in The Chronicles of Narnia, in which he hid the fundamentals of Christian living in allegories and types. The desire to create something that blends old world, contemporary, and sci-fi together also helped drive me to author a series of books that are frankly in their own category of fiction."
Christian Gaddis, from a family of 16 children, is a home-schooled young adult who unexpectedly started his writing journey at the age of 15 in Louisville, Tennessee. He was directly inspired by God to start writing, a project that he never predicted he would embark on, and one which kept him busy for the good part of two-and-a-half years. The goal of the author's writing is to portray the Christian walk and life in his own words, based upon his own personal experiences through an exciting story. Gaddis wants to inspire many others to become strong warriors for the Kingdom of God. He is an aspiring entrepreneur who wishes to advance his business dreams and to serve as many people as he can. In addition to writing, Gaddis enjoys serving in the community, as well as designing fun popsicle housing models for his many siblings.
