Saturday, September 20, 2025

COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- BLT, a leading provider of custom electronics solutions and an AMD Premier Partner and Authorized Training Provider, announced today that AMD has asked BLT's expert engineers to deliver x86 training to the AMD technical field team at the AMD North American Regional Technical Training. The event is being held later this month at the AMD Colorado facilities. BLT's expertise includes FPGAs, SoCs, embedded software, and complete custom electronics systems, enabling tailored solutions for aerospace and defense, space, commercial, and intelligence markets.

During the event, BLT's expert engineers (SME2) will provide a full day of live instruction with demos and labs to AMD and Avnet FAES and SMEs on AMD x86 architecture and capabilities. This opportunity reflects the recognition from AMD of BLT's deep expertise in both processor and programmable logic technologies. It underscores BLT's standing as a trusted technical authority and highlights the unique role BLT plays in advancing the AMD partner ecosystem.

In addition to its instructional role, BLT is also a sponsor for the Regional Technical Training in Colorado and will participate in the Partner Night showcase, where the company will present a live x86 demo for attendees.

"Being asked by AMD to train their technical field team on x86 is both an honor and a strong validation of BLT's technical expertise," said Ed McCauley, President and founder of BLT. "This is a great opportunity and one that reinforces BLT's reputation for engineering excellence.
