Check Please is now TouchTab: MTech Mobility Makes Strategic Investment to Form New Tech Venture

JUPITER, Fla., Sept. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MTech Mobility today announced a strategic investment in Check Please, forming a new joint venture under the name TouchTab. The venture marks a major leap forward combining Check Please's agile, guest-centric payment innovation with MTech's patented universal POS integration platform, connectivity portfolio and full lifecycle services.

TouchTab was born out of close collaboration between the two companies and tested through MTech's Technology Innovation Labs. "TouchTab works with your existing point of sale system, including many legacy systems, to allow use of Android technology while maintaining your current tech stack," said Tom Seeker, Chief Technology Officer of the Technology Innovation Labs. "Payments can also be processed with your preferred processor or bank--where that option does not currently exist--giving operators more flexibility and control."
