OVERTAKE Marketplace Officially Launches with New Seller Shop 'TakeShop'

SINGAPORE, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- OVERTAKE, a Sui-based P2P trading platform, announced the official launch of its marketplace. This version newly supports three popular games--Path of Exile 1, Last Epoch, and MapleLand. In addition, the customizable seller shop 'TakeShop,' which allows influential users to design and share their own storefronts, has been introduced, and the overall UX/UI has been refreshed accordingly. The marketplace is designed to expand beyond games into various categories such as digital/physical goods and content/services, and credit card cash payments are now supported to further lower the entry barrier for Web2 users.
TakeShop lets users quickly create 'my own store' and start selling immediately by simply sharing a link. Sellers will be able to freely set store design, display style, and promotions, and automatically share rewards for traffic brought in by their community--friends, followers, and guild members. OVERTAKE provides escrow templates tailored to the characteristics of each category to reduce disputes and maintains a structure in which settlement occurs immediately once a trade is completed.
The core operating principles remain unchanged. Trades are secured with a 2-of-3 multisig smart contract escrow, and the existing low fee rate is maintained. Upon completion, trades settle instantly in USDC, and the Web2.5 experience--social login and sponsored gas--ensures a seamless flow from onboarding to payment.
Recently, OVERTAKE's token TAKE was listed on leading domestic and global exchanges, with positive early results. Following the simultaneous listings, liquidity and trading participation have grown rapidly, and the distribution base within the community is seen as more solid. With the marketplace's official launch coinciding with full-scale token distribution, the incentive pool for seller rewards and promotions is expected to expand, reinforcing virtuous-cycle growth across the ecosystem.
