Odyssey Systems Names Navy and Defense Industry Veteran Julie Vida as Vice President of Growth

WAKEFIELD, Mass., Oct. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Odyssey Systems, a leading provider of integrated national security technology, engineering, and program management capabilities, has named Julie Vida as Vice President of Growth. Julie will lead Odyssey's Business Development, Capture, Proposals, and Marketing functions.

Julie was most recently the Vice President of Defense Growth for ManTech, where she led a team of professionals specializing in capture, solution architecture, and proposal operations for the company's $4B defense business. She's also served as a senior advisor for the McChrystal Group, where she supported clients by providing strategic guidance, tackling complex challenges, and facilitating the creation of high-performing teams. Before ManTech, Julie led strategy, client relations, and technology functions for the public sector divisions of brands, including Splunk and Gartner.
She is a Navy veteran, having served 24 years on active duty as a Surface Warfare Officer and Naval Aviator before retiring as a Commander. She continued serving the Navy as a civilian Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Pentagon, where she led policy and governance over technology investments, implementation, and cybersecurity.
