AIC Will Demonstrate Server and Storage Solutions for Media Companies at the 2017 NAB Show
Friday, April 21, 2017

AIC's NVMe-based storage servers, tool-less servers and JBOD storage are widely used by entertainment companies for editing, playback and archiving enormous digital video files. The AIC demonstrations are set to take place at booth 13013 in the south lower hall of Las Vegas Convention Center.

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., April 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AIC announces that it will provide demonstrations of its NVMe server solutions designed for media and entertainment companies at the NAB Show from April 24 to April 27, 2017 in Las Vegas. AIC's products are widely used by companies that create systems used for high-memory and high-bandwidth production workflows, ranging from editing to distribution to archiving.

AIC will demonstrate three types of solutions at the NAB Show:

    -- NVMe-based storage servers supporting Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600
v4 Product Family along with NVMe JBOF (Just a Bunch of Flash)
    -- Tool-less servers that also support the Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600
        v4 Product Family
-- JBOD and iSCSI storage systems

AIC is a server and storage hardware manufacturer that has experience in offering customization services to companies working in the multimedia and entertainment industries. Many of these companies require a unique configuration of hardware and they find that they cannot meet their objectives using a system built with off-the-shelf servers.

With more organizations working with high-resolution video files on a routine basis, the need for robust equipment that can keep up with throughput and storage demands is essential. Otherwise, workflow hits expensive bottlenecks that can grind production to a halt, or viewers might experience interruptions when trying to see live streaming video events.

"The team at AIC is devoted to creating customized solutions for companies working with bandwidth-intensive, high-definition 4K videos," said CT Sun, Chief Architect at AIC. "To that end, we are pleased to offer demos at the NAB Show that will highlight how well our equipment works in even the most intense production environments."

Members of the press and other interested parties are invited to visit AIC to see the company's server and storage demonstrations at booth 13013 in the south lower hall at the NAB Show in Las Vegas between April 24 and April 27, 2017.
