SS&C unveils powerful, new combined capabilities to achieve a faster and more intelligent reconciliation process

WINDSOR, Conn., Sept. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced its integrated exception management solution, Reconciliation and Data Collection. The solution combines Evare's global financial data network and Recon's automated reconciliation platform unleashing the next wave of exception management capabilities.

The timely resolution of breaks (also known as "exceptions") associated with reconciling custodian holdings, cash, and transactions is a critical, daily, operational objective for financial service entities in today's hyper-competitive market. To meet this challenge, SS&C is introducing a new scalable solution that gathers data directly and securely from financial institutions worldwide, translates it into standardized formats, and matches it automatically. By implementing SS&C's integrated rules-based exception management solution, clients will significantly shorten their reconciliation cycles and reduce the time spent gathering, scrubbing, and reconciling the data. SS&C's automated solution helps users focus on value-added tasks and real-time decision-making with confidence.

"We are pleased to deliver our new Reconciliation and Data Collection solution to give our clients fast, efficient, scalable, and automated reconciliation. SS&C's Recon technology and Evare's data management service help our clients maintain a competitive advantage with reliable, real-time data," said Christy Bremner, Senior Vice President, Institutional and Investment Management. "This launch combines intelligent reconciliation and exception management."

According to Adox Research's Follow the Money research on reconciliation applications, 67 percent of those surveyed are planning to replace existing solutions in the next three years. The statistic showcases the priority for portfolio managers, traders, and clients to have the most accurate, up-to-date information available.
