Thursday, December 07, 2017

SHANGHAI, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sherpa's, a premium food delivery platform specializing in English speaking services and a subsidiary of Yum China Holdings, Inc. ("Yum China") (NYSE: YUMC), announced that it is one of the star sponsors for the 16th AmCham Shanghai Annual Appreciation Dinner, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Shanghai.

"Sherpa's has a proud history of serving the expat community in China and we are pleased to sponsor AmCham's Annual Appreciation Dinner," said Joey Wat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Yum China. "The number of high quality restaurants in China is expanding, and Sherpa's looks forward to continuing to deliver a diverse range of cuisines to customers in Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou."

The 16th Annual Appreciation Dinner is one of AmCham Shanghai's premier events and serves as a platform for the U.S. business community to interact with external stakeholders.

Sherpa's was founded in 1999. Its phone operators are fluent in English and it delivers from hundreds of quality restaurants across Shanghai, Beijing, and Suzhou. In May 2017, Yum China acquired a controlling interest in the holding company of DAOJIA.com.cn, an established online food delivery service provider, which operates Sherpa's.
