Verizon Wireless To Host PDA and Smartphone Workshops at Manhattan Communications Stores

"20 Things a PDA Can Do For You" Teaches Customers Productive New Wireless Applications; Workshops Offered September 3, 10, 17, 22 and 24
NEW YORK, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Ask anyone what they need more of and

why so many consumers are turning to Smartphones and PDAs to help manage it.
Wireless customers who apply business principles to manage their personal
lives can save time, be more productive and, ultimately, carry a lighter load

Now, for the first time, consumers who don't have access to an IT
department or a help desk, can turn to Verizon Wireless for help in learning
how to maximize all the capabilities new wireless devices have to offer. The
company is offering free PDA and Smartphone workshops at Verizon Wireless
Communications Stores throughout the New York Metro area to help customers
learn how to make these devices work for them. Each class, aptly named "20
Things a PDA Can Do For You," will answer customers' questions about their
particular product and service so they can get in-depth information on what
matters most to them, easily and quickly.
The workshops will be offered at the following Verizon Wireless
Communications Stores in Manhattan this month:
- 342 Madison Avenue and 43rd Street, near Grand Central Station;

Ideal for everyone from the small business owner to the soccer mom,
customers will receive free hands-on tutorials from local Verizon Wireless
data experts.

covered will include text messaging, how to sync your address book; how to use
Bluetooth and other accessories; music synchronization, email management and
Internet browsing.
