The third edition of IN(3D)USTRY From Needs to Solutions will expand its influence across the industrial ecosystem, expanding the sectors present in the first two editions. To this end, the event will address five subjects (advanced manufacturing, moulds and dies, new materials, plastic transformers and 3D printing), around which the content of the event will be based.

The event, which will include the collaboration of Leitat, Tecnalia and IAM3DHUB as strategic partners, will be structured around the IN(3D)USTRY Arena, a large area for innovation including a stage where 40 representatives from companies from five sectors (health, aeronautics, industry, automotive and retail) will present manufacturers with challenges for the future. In turn, manufacturers will offer solutions to these sectors' needs and will share success stories and potential applications for this technology throughout the world of industry.

Guest speakers will include Dr Jaedeok Yoo, founder of Aprecia Pharmaceutical, which has patented a system for manufacturing pills using 3D printing; Jessica Zeaske, director of investments at GE Ventures Healthcare, General Electric's venture capital fund for health, which manages 75 innovative startups; Markus Obermeier, director of the additive manufacturing sector at Siemens; and Jose Mariano Lopez-Urdiales, CEO of Zero2Infinity, a company that has created an innovative system for placing small satellites into orbit. Other participating companies will include automotive manufacturer SEAT, Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM Technologies, the Spanish company CAF, which specialises in the design, manufacture and maintenance of trains, and the German railway network Deutsche Bahn.

IN(3D)USTRY will also host the Reshape awards for the best 3D designs, the Ayri11 Robotics Congress, as well as an exhibition area with some 90 companies, including 3D printer manufacturers and new sectors participating in the event for the first time.
