Quickload Makes Shipping Freight Quicker, Safer and More Competitive
Friday, January 11, 2019

Quickload connects truckers to shipments and pays those truckers using Dwolla's ACH API

DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- To help truckers fill their rigs and shippers find trusted drivers, Quickload ( is making shipping freight quicker, safer and more competitive by reducing the number of "empty miles" that truck drivers are forced to drive while looking for their next shipment. Quickload matches truckers and shippers with each other via an intuitive desktop platform and mobile app that allows shippers to get their goods delivered quick and truckers to eliminate empty miles. Since its founding in 2016 by Ozan Baran, the CEO, Quickload is bringing trucking into the digital age to improve commodity transportation.

"Nearly everything that we use or consume in our daily lives has been on a truck. At Quickload, we help get those things where they need to go, quickly," says Baran.

By integrating with Dwolla, Quickload will pay drivers for work performed--utilizing Dwolla's mass payment and same day ACH features.

"Part of our mission at Quickload is connecting truckers with good businesses that pay them on time," Baran says. "Some traditional freight brokers may pay truckers in 30 or 60 days, Quickload can shorten that timeframe with Dwolla. Our partnership with Dwolla allows us to move in the direction we've been aiming for, to bring technology to this very traditional industry and to provide a market price that is fair for both shippers and truckers."

Dwolla, Inc. is a financial technology company that offers businesses an onramp to the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, the electronic network of financial institutions that moves more than 43 trillion dollars annually.
