Giggles Are in Store for Readers Young and Old of "Silly Animal Rhymes and Stories A to Z"
Monday, February 11, 2019

Author Anil's newest book will delight readers of all ages... from 2 to 102!

NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This book is too much fun to be read by just children! Readers of all ages will love turning the pages to see what's next. Just wait for the fun illustrations and plays on words, with some subtle satire snuck in.

The author emphasises that his book is "for all ages, 2 to 102," (including adults who hate children).

So what's waiting to be discovered inside the alphabet? C is for Catbird - a bird that eats cats? G is for Gummy Shark - beware! J is for Jackrabbit - making a monk of himself. P is for Pufferfish - which has an overblown reputation.
The catchy rhymes include: Bustard - I am flustered by the bustard who puts mustard on her custard!

"I am in love with this book and your wit and satire. I will buy copies for everyone." - Gayle Thompson, editor

"I wish you very well-deserved success on this very special book." - Lynn Eddy, Children's Book Editor

"A total delight for all ages! We are thrilled to announce its release." - Robert Fletcher, CEO of Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency

About the Author:

Now living in Perth, Australia, Anil was born in Henderson, Kentucky, where he lived in the former slave quarters of a plantation. He was editor of his high school annual, as well as valedictorian and class president. After deciding to be a Baptist preacher, he later switched to biology, earning a BS from Wake Forest and a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins, with positions at the Universities of Illinois (microbiology), Pittsburgh (biology) and Western Australia (biochemistry). He retired at age 39 to pursue writing full time and to explore mysticism and spirituality, becoming a Sannyasin of Osho Rajneesh. "It was he who gave me the name Anil." The author has lived in Perth since 1973. "The most interesting thing about Perth is that it is the world's second most remote state capital after Siberia's."

His other books include:

-- How to Double the Meaning of Life (2011, Xlibris), a large book of puns
        and other humorous wordplay.
-- up/dn: a Dictionary and Contradictionary of Anagrams, Palindromes and
Polyanagrams (privately printed, 2002) available from the author for $20
        including postage.
-- Anno Dodo, a Manual of Extinction (1979, self-illustrated, unpublished
but planning a revision and publication).
-- Strange Bedfellows: Fun with Etymology (written but not yet
illustrated), sort of an adult sequel to Silly Animal Rhymes.

In addition to scientific publications, he has published some 180 articles in the wordplay quarterly, Word Ways: the Journal of Recreational Linguistics, since 2001.
