Caveonix RiskForesight(TM) Now Available on IBM Cloud
Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Caveonix's RiskForesight(TM) is designed to proactively manage evolving cybersecurity and industry compliance requirements at the speed of cloud and collaboration

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Caveonix, today announced that RiskForesight(TM) is now available to customers using IBM Cloud for VMware solutions. RiskForesight is designed to give users greater visibility and control to protect cloud workloads from cyber and industry compliance risks.

Enterprises undergoing a digital transformation and adopting a hybrid cloud strategy are faced with the unique challenge of protecting an ever-increasing attack surface as well as maintaining their industry and regulatory compliance requirements in a multi-technology environment. To protect the expanding attack surface, enterprises need continuous visibility into cloud workloads, from the moment they spin up until they spin down. Enterprises must maintain a "full-stack" understanding of the workload vulnerabilities and configuration issues at the infrastructure, platform, and application level in the context of the latest threats and compliance requirements.

Now available on IBM Cloud for VMware solutions, RiskForesight provides consistent cloud protection using a common Risk Management Control Plane (RMCP) for secured hybrid cloud deployments. It helps eliminate security blind spots and address potential compliance gaps, restoring customers' risk visibility and confidence in deployments. The RiskForesight solution supports customers' continuous visibility into their cyber and compliance risk posture and provides both proactive and reactive means to help protect the hybrid cloud workloads with its deep API level integration with IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions, including VMware NSX. RiskForesight monitors industry or custom standards and government regulatory requirements such as PCI, FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP, ISO, and others natively.

Caveonix partnered with VMware to develop a hybrid cloud risk and compliance management solution as a service that could be made available on a rental basis to enterprise customers through partners such as IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions. The service builds on leading solutions from VMware that customers use on-premises for modernizing data centers and transforming networking and security in the multi-cloud era. Details about Caveonix and supported solutions can be found in the VMware Solutions Exchange.

"As clients continue to migrate and modernize their VMware workloads on IBM Cloud, especially production workloads and mission critical business applications, security of these assets is of upmost priority," said Zane Adams, VP, IBM Cloud. "The combination of RiskForesight with IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions will help customers manage the cyber and compliance risk posture of their hybrid cloud workloads."

"With RiskForesight, IBM Cloud customers can maintain visibility and mitigate risks proactively," said Kaus Phaltankar, President and Chief Technology Officer of Caveonix. "RiskForesight's Detect, Predict and Act Risk Management continuum provides continuous and automated defense of hybrid cloud workloads with up-to-date visibility of workloads, their changing risk postures through risk analytics and enforcement of proactive and reactive policies for mitigating risks."
