LFC Group of Companies Launches Online Auction of More than 7,000 Acres of Land
Wednesday, July 23, 2008

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The LFC Group of Companies, the nation's premier online real estate auction marketing firm, is proud to announce the launch of a new land auction on its commercial auction website, http://www.LFC.com. Featuring land that once served as tree farms, a Portland, Oregon-based timberland investment advisory firm selected LFC to auction some of its "non-core" real estate assets in the southeastern United States.

The online auction features fourteen separate parcels, totaling more than 7,000 acres, located in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. The parcels range from a 43-acre tract with residential development potential, located 10 miles north of Pontotoc, Miss. (a town made famous by Jesse James), to a 3,364-acre parcel adjacent to a public-use airport in Cross City, Fla.

Each property offers a unique development opportunity, including an 80-acre parcel located within a few miles of the proposed Toyota plant in Blue Springs, Miss., where the first U.S.-made Prius's will be manufactured.

Many of the properties are well-suited for recreational uses, such as hunting; other properties offer potential timberland investment opportunities. With minimum bids starting as low as $5,000, investors and interested buyers should not pass up this incredible opportunity to purchase these vast expanses of land.

"As one of the world's largest timberland investment managers, this client is being proactive in choosing to sell their land through an online auction over more conventional methods," said Bill Lange, president of the LFC Group of Companies. "These properties will receive global exposure, allowing for either a domestic or an international buyer to easily purchase the property with just a click of a mouse."

The bid deadline is September 25, 2008, giving prospective buyers' ample time to conduct their due diligence. To register to bid and to review important property and auction information, including documents, disclosures, images and maps, go to http://www.LFC.com/726R2.
