FiberTower Announces Second Quarter 2008 Earnings Release and Conference Call Schedule

(Nasdaq: FTWR) announced today that it plans to release 2008 second quarter
results on Thursday, August 7, 2008 after the market closes. In conjunction
with the release, FiberTower has scheduled a conference call, which will be
broadcast live over the Internet on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
Eastern Time.
