New Internet Alerting Service Provides Early Warning Intelligence For Cyber Threats

BorderHawk Cybersecurity Announces General Availability of Klieglight Media Alerting Service

CARTERSVILLE, Ga., June 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BorderHawk CyberSecurity today announced general availability of its Klieglight Cyber Media alerting service that provides early warning intelligence for potential cyber threats.

Klieglight, which has been in limited availability since February, utilizes a proprietary methodology to analyze public information across social media platforms to identify cyber threat activity.

For example, Klieglight was used by a major industrial company to recognize potential threats to its operation and that of its key vendors, helping the company manage both cyber and physical security as well as to understand and address brand image issues.

"One of the most important facets of cyber incident management is the ability to gather intelligence in preparation for potential malicious activities," said Steve Akridge, chief executive officer of BorderHawk, located in Cartersville, Ga., about an hour's drive north of Atlanta. "In the past, this has been a difficult task, but with the emergence of social media and new internet analytical tools, more organizations have the resources to conduct effective information gathering."

Akridge noted, however, that many of the current cyber intelligence reporting solutions produce data that is vague and marginally valuable or produces so much raw data that the results are disjointed and of little use.

"We designed Klieglight to precisely identify activity that may have high relevance of a potential cyber issue for a client," said Akridge. "We compile that information into a consistent format that makes it easy for the client to draw their own conclusions about potential threats."

The Klieglight reports - available as a flash, when a potential incident is discovered, weekly or monthly, feature:

    -- Specific indications and warnings
    -- Cyberattack specific
    -- Kinetic attack specific
-- Additional data -international category specific information

Klieglight service is available to both government and business organizations for a typical configuration of 1 to 3 users for a weekly report for a minimal monthly license fee. For more information, contact 770 607-7384 or email at info@borderhawk.com
