Friday, July 26, 2019

Computing has announced iboss is a finalist in two different Cloud Excellence Award categories

BOSTON, July 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cloud security leader iboss has announced that it has been named a finalist for Computing's Cloud Excellence Awards 2019 in two different categories. iboss received nominations in the categories for Cloud Security Product of Year (Large Enterprises) and the Most Innovative Cloud Product or Service (Large Companies).

The Cloud Excellence Awards 2019 will be held September 19th at the Hilton London Tower Bridge hotel located at 5 More London Place, Tooley Street.
These awards seek to recognize the best companies in the cloud industry and recognize the most innovative products and vendors.

iboss president Peter Martini commented, "It is an honor to be a finalist for two of Computing's Excellence Awards this year. These nominations help to reaffirm our position in leading the way for cloud security which is necessary for the cloud connected future."

iboss seeks to eliminate the need for traditional security appliances, which are inadequate for the modern cybersecurity landscape as they are designed to protect fixed perimeters in an inherently mobile world. Network security appliances have limited processing capabilities which contradict the exponentially increasing bandwidth which needs to be secured as users access cloud applications. As a result, iboss has quickly gained a strong reputation among users, with an ever growing number of large enterprises as customers, by delivering Internet security in the cloud that ensures consistent security regardless of location. Its 100% cloud-based security protects users on all their devices and from any location via a powerful combination of cloud application controls, filtering, malware defense and data loss prevention.

When it comes to innovation, iboss's containerized cloud architecture ensures 100% of the features and capabilities available within network security appliances transition seamlessly to the cloud security service. The company is also backed by over 100 patents.
