SX-ULPGN Wireless LAN module is Selected for Renesas Electronics RX65N Cloud Kit Supporting Amazon FreeRTOS
SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Silex Technology, Inc. announced today that the company's IEEE 802.11bgn wireless LAN module SX-ULPGN has been selected for Amazon FreeRTOS certified "Renesas RX65N Cloud Kit" of Renesas Electronics Corporation. The RX65N Cloud Kit is a cloud communication evaluation kit certified with Amazon FreeRTOS, allowing IoT devices to connect to Amazon Web Service (AWS) through easy and secure Wi-Fi. With standard built-in environmental, light, and inertial sensors, it can establish secure end-to-end AWS connectivity to sophisticated systems, offices and industrial automation systems, making it ideal for prototype development and evaluation of sensor-equipped IoT devices.
Silex's SX-ULPGN is a key component of its Wi-Fi connectivity solution.

The host MCU connection interface uses UART, and its proprietary AT commands provide a simple operation, eliminating the need for engineers with specialized Wi-Fi software development knowledge, and reducing OEM engineering time. The module comes readily equipped with radio certification for Japan, North America and Europe, reducing the go-to-market costs associated with radio law compliance for device manufacturers who plan to globally expand their business.
