Retired Physician Explores the Negative Effects of an Egalitarian Society on Medical Advancement
Friday, August 23, 2019

A historical study of the necessity of societal change for medical progress from Liberty Hill Publishing.

HOBART, N.Y., August 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. William H. Adams wraps up his three-volume study of the history of government and medicine in, The Natural State of Medical Practice, Volume 3: Escape from Egalitarianism ($57.99, hardback, 9781545668917; $47.49, paperback, 9781545668900; $9.99, e-book, 9781545668924).

In this third installment to the series, Adams specifically addresses how egalitarian kinship stunted medical growth and the advances that were made possible by societies who moved beyond this system. The danger remains as modern societies borrow elements of this governance and cloak them as authoritarianism.

"This...volume...expands on arguments of the first volume and explores reasons for the delayed evolution of effective medical care on human societies," said Adams.

William H. Adams, M.D. earned his medical degree from Ohio State University. He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and holds a post-graduate diploma in clinical medicine of the tropics (London). He retired after forty years of medical practice and is also the author of The Natural State of Medical Practice: An Isagorial Theory of Human Progress and The Natural State of Medical Practice: Hippocratic Evidence.

Liberty Hill Publishing is a division of Salem Media Group, America's leading radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values. The Natural State of Medical Practice, Volume 3 is available online through amazon.com and bn.com.
