Jaki Hall & Ronald D. Henderson announce publication of 'We Are the Wards!'

PIKESVILLE, Md., Dec. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The new biography "We Are the Wards!: A Legacy of Faith and Family" (published by WestBow Press) by Jaki Hall & Ronald D. Henderson follows the narrative of an American family's unwavering faith in God and their unconditional love for each other.

With one acre and one mule, Matt and Ella Ward, former sharecroppers in the Deep South, survived the degradation of post-slavery America and systemic racism to raise a large, God-fearing family that, seven generations later, the majority of whom are educated, financially secure, and respected in their respective communities. Their forebears lived out the tenets of their Christian faith, teaching their offspring to be faithful to God, to be proud of their humble beginnings, and to believe in the power of a strong, black family to overcome the socio-political-economic obstacles in their path.

The authors want readers to know the descendants of Madison "Matt" Ward and Ella Duncan Ward are a proud Christian family, blessed by God to worship him, serve him, and to witness Jesus Christ to a dying world.
