On Your Birthday Reaches Milestone, Gifts 1000 Children With Birthday Cheer

officially gifted 1,000 children since its inception in August 2007. On July
22, 2008, the company launched its online community of children's charities
that helps individual and corporate donors give unexpected presents to
underprivileged, seriously ill, emotionally or physically challenged children
in need of birthday cheer.

Each gifted child receives a package with a personalized birthday card and
a classic or award-winning book tailored to the child's age and gender, and
either a stuffed animal or a gift-card from a national retailer. Donors can
gift a child via OYB in a variety of ways either by choosing a child who
shares their birthday or name, choosing a specific charity, or by donating in
someone's honor.
As OYB partners with more children's charities, there is a greater need
for donors to contribute so all children can receive a special gift on their
