American Apartment Owner's Association Enters Agreement with PayRent to Assist Members with Contactless Rent Payments amid COVID-19 Outbreak

PayRent is excited to announce an agreement with the American Apartment Owner's Association (AAOA) to assist its members as they transition to secure digital rent collection.

The largest landlord association in the country, AAOA boasts over 116,000 members and has a long-standing reputation of providing their landlord members with vital industry information and services.
Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the need for contactless rent payment methods is at an unprecedented high. As landlords continue to work with their tenants to provide safety and shelter on fair terms, many have turned to online rent collection services.

Founded in 2016, PayRent allows landlords to accept credit card payments as well as electronic checks from their tenants. There is no monthly fee for the platform and landlords have the option to pay the processing fees or to pass them on to their tenants.
Payments are sent digitally, using bank-level encryption, from one account to another so there is no need for additional trips to the bank, post office, or mailbox. Funds are typically deposited within 2-4 business days and instant payment receipts for both the landlord and tenant make the funds easy to track.
