ThingLogix and ICI have announced a COVID-19 Solution using ICI Thermal Cameras and ThingLogix Workwatch Solution

BELMONT, Calif., July 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic has placed unprecedented strain on Communities, Schools, Workplaces, and Events around the globe. Most schools, businesses, and community settings (such as schools and churches) are now in the midst of reopening, employers and community leaders are trying to design safe ways to get people back to the new normal as quickly and safely as possible. ThingLogix is at the forefront of developing technology solutions that prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace and in our communities.

With everyone trying to navigate new back-to-work mitigation protocols and enhanced screening procedures, technology is offering solutions that can streamline these processes at scale. ThingLogix Workwatch delivers a complete solution including thermal screening, automated social distancing monitoring, and PPE policy management. Using powerful image processing and sensor-based (internet of things) IoT features, WorkWatch can maintain the records necessary to ensure compliance with changing requirements.

Today, ThingLogix is announcing a partnership with Infrared Cameras Inc (ICI). ThingLogix has fully integrated ICI's thermal cameras into their Workwatch solution and has also become a reseller of ICI camera hardware. Workwatch delivers a coordinated preventative approach, combining thermal imaging, facial recognition, indoor positioning, and AI to create the world's most full-featured solution for workplace automation and compliance. ICI's cameras are easily deployed as plug-and-play devices that are managed from a single cloud system. Thermal screening data is correlated with employee and visitor records for entry and exit to ensure that processes are being complied with and that there is the traceability to prove it. ThingLogix chose ICI as a thermal camera partner due to their long track record of developing FDA approved skin temperature measurement cameras.

ThingLogix developed Workwatch on its underlying Amazon Web Services based Foundry IoT platform. Workwatch is enabling employers to quickly start screening staff and restore on-site operations. The foundation for the thermal portion of the solution was ICI's FDA approved thermal cameras. "ICI Cameras have given us the confidence to offer this solution to our customers. We feel comfortable that the cameras being used to screen for elevated skin temperatures were designed to be used for this purpose and are the quality that we have come to expect. As a partner, ICI provides the quality of products and services to launch Workwatch Thermal with confidence. We are excited to offer their products to our customers and to provide Workwatch as a comprehensive solution to ICI customers as well." says Carl Krupitzer, CEO of ThingLogix.

Gary Strahan, CEO of ICI says, "We are looking forward to a great partnership with ThingLogix. We focus on building great cameras and Workwatch gives customers the cloud platform to manage and report on their screening activities."
