Revolutionary search experience now available free in Apple's iPhone App Store

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Web search innovator Searchme Inc. announced today that its visual search iPhone application is now available for free downloading at Apple's App Store (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=293503313&m t=8)(Due to length of URL, please copy and paste into browser). The Searchme iPhone app marks an evolutionary step in mobile search and is the first search engine with a UI designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Searchme lets you see web pages without having to click through. This makes searching the web considerably faster. Results are presented in a stack of pages that you can flip through or expand with your finger, so you no longer have to wait for them to load into your browser. Once you find what you're looking for, just double tap the screen to open the page. Searchme's patent pending "category suggest" technology understands your query and suggests appropriate categories as you type, allowing you to get only the results you want.

"iPhone owners are some of the most discerning Internet users because they understand the importance of intuitive, easy navigation," said Randy Adams, Searchme Founder and CEO. "Searchme's visual approach to search means that the search experience, even on a smaller screen, is fast, simple and smart. We carefully designed Searchme iPhone to have a user interface which would be intuitive to iPhone and iPod Touch users and I think they will find it a superior way to search the web."
