Reach and Relevance Results in a Powerful Package for Marketers

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Science + Fiction, the branded programming studio, is pleased to announce a partnership with MSN. The agreement gives marketers access to authentic relevance and measurable reach to consumers through online programming.

The combination of Science + Fiction's award-winning, original content and extensive production capabilities with MSN's understanding of how to capture and retain audiences, will offer a powerful way for brands to connect with consumers in a fast, meaningful and cost-effective way. This familiar and proven relationship between Science + Fiction and MSN will streamline communication and production from conception to debut.

"We have enjoyed working with MSN over the past three years," said Kevin Townsend, Founder and Managing Partner of Science + Fiction. "Our partnership has been a great creative environment for us, resulting in many successful campaigns for our clients that will remain relevant for a long time to come. Formalizing our relationship was a natural next step."

The partnership began in 2006 when Science + Fiction and MSN collaborated to create and produce In the Motherhood on behalf of Mindshare, Sprint and Suave. The non-traditional marketing program increased sales for both brands, captured 3 million viewers in the first 3-month season, and 6 million in the second 3-month season, and was picked up by ABC as a traditional television series slated to debut in the spring 2009 season. This fall, Science + Fiction and MSN also released Fearless (GM's Hummer), which is currently airing at http://fearless.msn.com/.

"We have a great deal of respect for Kevin and the folks at Science + Fiction," said Michael Siegenthaler, director of Branded Entertainment and Experiences (BEET) at MSN. "Our multi-disciplinary team of editors, designers, project managers and developers look forward to continued collaboration with Science + Fiction and brining great experiences to life that delight the MSN audience and make dramatic impact on the brands we work with."

The announcement proves that Science + Fiction is a true leader of the booming branded entertainment industry and has created the road map of how programs will be developed, distributed and measured.
