Dashlane Launches Industry-First Tool for Businesses: Historical Password Health Score Reporting

NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Dashlane today announced the availability of a new Password Health Reporting Dashboard for its business customers. The first-of-its-kind reporting tool gives company administrators unprecedented, in-depth visibility into employee password security and the ability to track improvements over time. While weak, stolen, or reused employee passwords are the number one cause of data breaches, Dashlane's new feature helps businesses both identify employees with poor password habits and evaluate the effectiveness of a company's security initiatives and password policies.
With employees across the globe working remotely, encouraging good security hygiene is a priority for CISOs and IT leaders now more than ever. A recent Dashlane survey found that nearly 60% of Americans are using personal devices for work during the pandemic, passing on the vulnerabilities found in bad online security practices to their employers. A business's Password Health Score is important--Dashlane recommends a score of 90% or above--but tracking it over time is even more critical.
