"Contactless check-in" saves hotels and guests from Covid-19 dangers

rezStream, a provider of reservation software and digital services to the US hotel industry has expanded its Ecosystem of Lodging Tools by partnering with Akia, a provider of SMS guest messaging services to the lodging industry, to provide a much needed "contactless check-in" option for hotels.

DENVER, Sept. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In the COVID-19 era, less is more. Less in-person contact between guests and hotel staff offers more security, health, and peace of mind for everyone. The rezStream/Akia partnership provides just that.

The solution enables thousands of hotel guests to receive hotel registration forms directly to their phones, review booking charges and associated policies, terms, and conditions on their mobile devices, and digitally sign the forms directly from their smartphones. The process maximizes social distancing by minimizing physical contact at check-in. By communicating with guests over SMS text message, rezStream hotel customers can now ensure their guests feel safe, comfortable, and confident during their upcoming travel.
